ADELAIDE - CANDLELIGHT VIGIL - 5 pm Friday 18th, Victoria Sq E-mail

Our Community would like to invite you to join us again to demonstrate our depth of feeling for those suffering in Tibet today.

We want to make more public the atrocities and brutality that is rampant by the Communist Chinese Government toward a peaceloving and gentle people, who have had their country, their culture and their freedom that we take so much for granted, viciously stolen from them. You are most welcome to come along and chant the compassion mantra with us.

Tenzin (on behalf of the Tibetan Community SA)

Torch Arrives in Canberra Thursday April 24 E-mail

What are we doing? I for one aren't going to stay at home and watch it on TV

Some ideas:
All flock to Canberra for a traditional big noisy rally
Hire a firefighting helicopter to douse it
Pray for the Chinese ..

Just some quick thoughts. More later, or send us your ideas. Register & use the forum.
It would be good to get started on some very large and clever banners - anyone know a sympathetic printer?
