_mg_9345_opt.jpgWe are calling on all Tibet support groups, Tibet supporters, Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, Jewish and all other brothers and sisters, who are against human rights abuse, to join us for a peaceful evening of prayers to Stand up for Tibet.

An evening of peaceful prayers and candlelight vigil organised by FPMTA Ltd and Ashfield Parish Mission.

When: Wednesday 9th April, 2008
From: 6pm until 9pm 
At: Martin Place Amphitheatre, between Castlereagh and Pitt Streets, Sydney. 

Guest speakers from the Tibetan Community, Tibet Information Office, ATC, Amnesty International, The Exodus Foundation, Eastern Turkistan Australian Association, Federation for a Democratic China Australia, The Vietnamese Community of NSW, Darfur Australian Network and other groups.

_mg_9337_opt.jpgFollowed by prayers from the different traditions and finishing the evening with lighting candles for the people that have and will die and suffer in Tibet, and around the world.

Everyone is welcome and is encouraged to please join us and STAND UP FOR TIBET.

If you represent a community group we are encouraging people to bring banners.
